Black Golf Free Important Guideline

golf-shoes Black Golf Free Important Guideline

I read the other review and bought it on the fact it could hold at least a size 11 shoe. I can state that it does, so I am happy. It also holds two cases (8 sleeves) of golf balls and has three large sections to hold tees, glove, towel and I keep brand new socks in the zipper compartment which is complety seperate from the three sections. Basically, holds a lot of stuff.

  1. I like the GPS, it works great. The only drawback is that it is pretty thick so that you really cant put it in your pocket and just pull it out when you are ready to hit. You have to either clip it on your belt (which impedes your swing) or leave it in the cart or with your caddy. If they could get the same technology onto a thin device, I think it would be much improved.

  2. I was very surprised by the build quality of this unit. Not very good at all. I bought this unit for my Dad for Christmas while I bought myself the Garmin. I suspect I may need to return this unit (If that’s even possible) and get him something else. Seems so overly complicated while many other units seem so simple.

I was aware of the yearly subscription fee but have recently read that if you do not continue with the subscription, they wipe the maps from your unit. I probably should have read up on that before I purchased the unit. I would not have purchased it had I known.

The software is buggy on the unit while the desktop software, although not completely tested, seems to work other then the fact that my unit STILL says not registered to anyone even though I filled in the forms correctly and synced it.

  3. The Sky Caddie SG5 is a wonderful aid for any golfer who plays different courses. I tested it on my home course, where I don’t really need it, and was pleased with the results. Having now played on about half a dozen “foreign” courses I know that I have saved 2-4 shots per round because I knew where hazards were and how far the green really was. I would not want to play an unknown course again without my Sky Caddie.

  4. I had an SG3 that served me well for 2 years, but I wanted to upgrade to the color SG5. I have been using it now for about 4 months and really can’t say anything bad about it. Lately the foursome I have been playing with 3 of us have a GPS unit and 1 has a Laser System. I’m the only one with a SkyCaddie, the other 2 GPS units are different brands but are new color models in the $300 to $400 range, and both have the touch screen features. I won’t name those brands, since I don’t own them, and to be honest I’m glad I don’t own them. What we started to notice is that about 75% of the time the 3 GPS units all had different yardage, anywhere from 3 yards to up to a max of 14 yards. The one constant was that my buddy with the laser always had the same yardage as me with my SG5. What was also interesting is that when we all used our 3 different GPS units to mark the distane of one of our shots, we all got the same distance for the shot, no variance. The other 2 GPS units don’t charge a yearly fee for their course database, I do pay an annual fee of $29.95 for all the courses in CA. The other 2 guys started to do some investigating why their units seemed to be inaccurate at times. The conclusion that we all reached is that SkyCaddie is the only manufacture that actually has people out there walking the courses and recording the data based on where they are standing in relationship to the GPS readings they get. Seems the other companies base their measurements on ariel data and mapping programs. Here is a quote from one of those manufacturers in their FAQ section regarding how they collect their data: “The (product name) golf course data is collected from aerial and satellite imagery from various vendors. We then use that imagery to digitize the course feature. Once complete, course routing and scorecard information is assigned for each hole”. Also if you read the fine print that free course data without a fee could someday have a fee, “At the current time, we are offering map updates to include new and updated courses at no charge. At some point in the future, it is possible that (company name)will begin to charge a nominal fee for course updates”. Again they aren’t saying you will defiantly be paying a fee someday, just that it is possible. Probably the lawyers had them throw that in just to cover their butts, so its probably not a concern. Last Saturday the other 2 guys both showed up with a new SG5 (bought on Amazon), their other units are now listed on Ebay. And we all have the same yardage now all the time. Our buddy with the laser gets his measurement to the pin and it takes in account the slope, nice if you can see the pin. Also my hands shake too much when using the laser. The SG5 won’t improve your game if you don’t have consistent distances nailed down with your clubs, but if you do you will see more balls on the green, not short or off the green.

One other thing is all these guys that complain about how the SG5 won’t load up on their computer or freeze up and have too be returned. I don’t pay attention to those reviews, some of these folks have messed up or old systems or aren’t computer literate to follow directions. And yes calling SkyCaddie support is not a pleasant experience, if you do more talking then listening. I have found that if I email in my question support gives me a detailed and accurate answer within anywhere from 20 minutes to a couple hours.

My experience and that of my friends is that free course data may not be as accurate as the information from SkyCaddie, it’s worth $29 a year to get accuracy.

  5. We bought this as a gift. We really liked the space for the shoes. It was big enough for my brothers size 12 golf shoes. We bought many other items to stuff it and there was still enough space open for him to add his own things. Very roomy.

  6. I have played golf for many years and this is the first pair of Callaway shoes that I have purchased. They fit great, have a great feel and look good. I am very glad I purchased these shoes.

  7. Bought these for my husband and he loves them. Great shoe for the price. Comfortable and great looking.

  8. Very satisfy with this product.
This is my third time to purchase same shoes.
    Good quality at reasonable price!

  9. This is a good shoe, most of the materials used are of good quality. However, you want to watch your left foot (if you are a right handed golfer) from rolling over when hitting an aggressive strokes. Because of the width of the shoe, your foot, if not fitting snug in the shoe, will slide to the left and you may roll your ankle. Simple way to avoid this is to ensure your feet fit snugly in these shoes. Great walk on the course! I gave it 4 stars because for the price I was expecting a softer insole.

  10. I wear a size 10W Footjoy shoe, and these spikes tend to last about two seasons. That’s two seasons of walking 9 holes or riding 18 — about 25 outings a year. Sometimes the one nearest the ball of the foot wears faster.

I don’t walk on cart paths or on rocks very often. I’ve never used the cleat tool it came with, as I have one on my multi tool I carry in my pocket.

My only real complaint I have is that once they get worn I do have some trouble removing the old cleat as the holes sometimes tear.

  11. I have used these for many years. They’re easy on, easy off (with a wrench), and very comfortable.

  12. Installation difficult with provided tool. Have played only 10 rounds and half the spikes are worn to the point they need replacement. I would not recommend this product (Q-Fit).

  13. Received this golf cart and was thoroughly impressed with its quality and design. I’ve looked into many golf carts and this one has all the features I want (Compact storage, Awesome cupholder and quick setup. I recommend this cart to everyone. If you’re in doubt, just add it to the cart! You won’t be disappointed.

  14. I purchased a Stowamatic electric golf pull cart a few months ago. The cart has an intermittent electrical
short and stops in the middle of a golf round. Amazon.com doesn’t carry this item anymore and takes absolutely
no responsibility for any kind of warranty. Amazon says it “forwarded my complaint to the vendor”. That’s
great, since the vendor won’t contact me, nor can I find out who the vendor is. All in all, the transaction
has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I don’t think I’ll be ordering anything else from Amazon.com. I
bought on the basis of doing business with Amazon.com, only to find out they’re only a “middleman” who takes no
sponsiblity for the item it sells. My recommendation: Don’t buy thru Amazon.com, because there is no warranty
or customer help if anything goes wrong.

  15. Here’s the deal. My wife hated her pull cart because it was hard on her elbow and shoulder pulling that thing around all day. So I started shopping for pushcarts for about a year. I saw what other golfers were using, went to the stores and shopped the net. After reading all I could I settled on the Click-Gear 2.0. When I went to the store to make my purchase I saw the 3.0. Love at first sight. The up-dated features are unbeatable. It now has a swiveled beverage holder on the side so it fits most any drink and doesn’t spill everywhere. The little compartment by the handle is bigger and there is a hammock like netting just below the compartment for other stuff. The brake handle is improved and now there is a release button for the front wheel instead of a lever.

Bottom line: My wife LOVES it. It’s super easy to roll, even in soaked conditions. So much so on a windy day with the wind at our backs it started rolling by itself. It feels sturdy. The brake holds well. It doesn’t feel tipsy at all. The tires are nice and wide so they go through wet turf very well. Did I mention my wife loves it?

It does take a little bit of practice to get the unfolding and folding down but after 3-4 times it’s fine. If my wife can do it anyone can. Guys, do yourself and your wife a favor. Get two. Plain and simple.

The 2.0 is a fine cart but for me the 3.0 is just spot on. One of my best golf purchases ever.

  16. The Clicgear 2.0 is a great product for the golfer who wants to have a walking experience on the course instead of riding in a cart. The product is easy to use, folds into a space smaller than my bag, fits easily into the trunk of my car and appears to have been designed to last a lifetime.

  17. This golf rack is great! We actually use it to store our baseball bags and cleats. They hang from the same hooks where you would store a golf bag. It looks great mounted on the garage wall and now everything is off of the garage floor and appears neat and tidy. We always know where our cleats and equipment can be found too.
